I put some elastics.. might work. Not worried about old camera, donít want to throw out a McDonald flag for nothing. Leaving now, Iíll get your professional opinion

Great night overall. Dad ran a 2:20 in qualifying but only did half of it because he was worried about getting enough fuel in the car. We had lots of time. But he overfilled the car slightly and spilled some gas. Cleaned that up, then spewed some more out that was trapped in the vent line. Made it to staging and was supposed to start 9th (18 cars). But a whole bunch of guys were late to the grid. James ended up starting P1 and Dad was P3. He ran well, but lost a few spots to the faster guys. He ran a bunch of 2:16s and had a best of 2:16.007. His new personal best, but I’ve still went faster in the Legend (and I made sure he knew that after the race lol). He had second in L2 in the bag (7th overall) but coming to the white flag the car died. Ran out of battery FFS. Oh well. Dad had a blast, and loves the car. Really makes me feel good after all the work I did, and the issues we’ve had so far this year.

Oh and it wasn’t an MR member, but Richard Kent destroyed a Go-Pro tonight. That’s 3 for 3 this season.

What an awesome night! Results attached.

So first and only dry race I ran a 2:15 as my best. So I told Fred my goal was to qualify with a 2:13.

I go out and first lap is like a 2:20 and honestly I was bummed for a bit, I didn't think I could go much faster.

Second lap I look at laptimer as I cross the line but it hadn't updated yet so I thought fuck still 2:20. Best crew ever, Tony comes onto radio, 2:15 ! Wut? I look again, oh shit he's right I'll keep pushing. Next lap 2:13.9. Fuck ya. Next lap 2:13.1, next lap was going to better but I hit traffic so I pit in.

Get to grid with huge help from my crew. I qualified 4th I was really happy with that out of 18 cars, heck 4 were radicals and 3 renault's which should all be faster than my car.

Nobody else shows up so I'm P1 oh boy.

Got a great jump on the start, pulled a 2 sec lead on Fred behind me after 1 lap and pushed hard. Took awhile and finally Radical caught me running 5 seconds a lap faster then Renault. But solid third place nobody else around.

Ended up with a best lap of 2:11.9. That's fucking fast. So happy.

    Super fun night.
    Nice work Wing.

It was one of those nights that you wait for all winter. Sunny, not mental hot. Car ran great.

First real race session with the car.
Seems James Dunn's first as well.
We ran together the whole race which was a lot of fun.
My car was clearly faster in the straights, but I was so pathetic with shifting into second, that I lost a lot of time in the slower corners. James was a lot smoother overall.
I spun about midway...so James slowed down to take a break. I caught him a lap later and got a point by.
I led to the white flag and let him by to take the glory on the last lap...didn't realize it was P3.

So I need to find about 5-7 sec to be competitive...its all skill work. More seat time.

My other car is 10 motorcycles that don't start

Looking closer at lap times. Interesting how almost everyone's best time is lap 7 or 8 ish.

Pulled data from my "laptimer" just using a crap android phone but the times are pretty close to official timing. Tried to analyze data but seems something funny is going on there. Anyways. Looks like I was fairly consistent.
