They dust a bit but are super quiet and you can't fade them. Buy immediately. Consistent feel.

Yeah they are great, that is pricey for your car, some cars are 1/2 that price.

    But yes buy them.

Had done three track days on them already. This was on the way home after a Novice day last year. Got lazy and did not swap back to street pads before heading home.

But there's a bigger point here. The 1-series is the last car that BMW engineered before the Germans, as a car-making culture, fell out of love with driving.

I am amazed at the feedback on here for the stoptechs, Ive never had much good feedback with them, just looked at them as cheap chinese "racing" brake pads, nothing more. Pretty tough to compete with 1% markup rockauto, but I can get them down to $198.00 for the front and rear plus tax

I run 10/8's on the vette, always have. They're awsum at the track no fade evar and perfectly streetable minimum noise. On my 3rd set and would buy again.

    Carbotechs are also crazy pricey.

Set for my ISF was $800, $800!!!

Wish I had known about the $100 stoptechs then.

Same for both of my shitboxes. $400/4-corners and gymnastics to buy Carbotech, or $80 for Centric/Stoptech.

A few years ago my understanding was there was one guy in Ontario that could sell these in Canada. The dollar was shit then too. I stuck with Hawk and MANL cause local and half the price, but I did hear great things about Carbotech.
