    Default Track Goals for 2018

New year, new thread. With schedules coming out, it seems like the perfect time to start looking forward to the racing season.

This year, I plan to get as much possible seat time as my budget and my schedule can permit.

Got a calendar spreadsheet with all 1morelap, CMP challenge and race weekend events on it so far. Just waiting on dates for MCO AutoX, MCO lapping, CAC2018, CASC-OR regionals and Carl's ASE triple header.

Planning on needing a metric fukton of rubber lol.

AutoX: Gonna run as many local events as I can, as well as any regionals in Picton. CAC is rumoured to be in Centrailia this year, so might just make the road trip.
Lapping: Want to hit up the MCO events, as well as several 1morelaps. Need to get comfortable in the car at 'bogie because...
Libre: Hoping to run 2 or 3 events, probably later in the season once I get some laps under the belt.

I'll be up at the race weekends, assuming that there's a car I can jack up from time to time, and tires that I can check pressures on.

If Carl's event is a go this year, I'll be there with bells on.

Already do, but if those folks aren't running then I should be free.

goal: 8 races with 8 finishes. wish I could make it 9 and 9 but a wedding is gonna get in the way of that. if I get comfy enough (and fast enough!) I may try some PT races towards the end of the season.

1morelaps? we'll see how time and budget holds up.

EDIT: break the 2:30 barrier consistently. I think I'd be stoked to get to :27s

    1. Finish rebuilding car. 2. Race car. 3. Don't break car.

We'll do the full Libre season, and maybe the TP weekend. If things go really well, maybe try Tremblant or Mosport too.

Run full PT season (less one due to conflict).

Get race license and run a couple of CASC GT Sprints. Probably stick to Calabogie for now.

Do some more chump races (signed up for Watkins Glen).

Drive some other tracks. Tremblant for sure. Maybe Shannonville, Mosport. Hope to get back out to Area 27.

I'm available to race your car when your not there Doug. I'll show up with my helmet/suit on and Greg won't know any different. That way you'll still get points.

The car gets the points, not the driver. No shenanigans required

    Track goals for 2018?

Slap some pads on the WRX, do a few 1morelap evenings, eat sammiches, maybe grab 1-2 door prize, be happy.

    Life is good.

Go faster. Donít crash. Spend as much time at the track as I can.
