    Default 2018 Shannonville Motorsports events

    Hey Guys,

I know its only february , and I know Calabogie is the best track in our area. But just sharing some info I got .

I have only attended once their pay per lap as I was in the area doing other things. Its not worth it for anyone in this region, but their lapping days are fun for those in need.

Shannonville full track is a fun and fast track. Yes, Calabogie is one of the best tracks in North America, but I’ve always enjoyed SMP every time I’ve gone. MCO ran a track day there in May last year. Memorable because it poured buckets in the AM then was warm and sunny in the PM. Ask Slick. It was his and Guy’s first event as chief Instructors.

I adored my time at SMP. Great for my little gokart car.

I have fond memories because it's the first track I ever ran on (CASC Race School). It's flat as a board but the track layout is technical and fun.

second track i rode on after Mosport. I was really disappointed when we pulled in the parking lot ... but not after I got off the track for the first time.

It wouldnt have been the same if we didnt have crazy morning rain and a beautiful afternoon. The two distinct types of ashphalt is what really made it a riot.

Day would have been vastly improved if the car didnt blow up though.
