Went over #19 last night. Put in a new battery terminal. Zip tied and riveted things. Serviced the brakes, rolled all 4 fenders... with a hammer. Installed new front tow point, installed badass transponder mount, and made the doors open easily again.

    Plenty of brake metal left:

2 sliders were seized good. Now they arnt.

Finally. Made sure wolf mural is still intact

    Looking forward to tomorrow!

Was at the track today to help with some last minute stuff.

Built up some of the snow banks a bit more this afternoon. Some of them are Armageddon sized (scruffy and some others made those).

Mike and crew were there setting up the timing loop. Testing looked like it went well.

Seems I got a snow sunburn.

    Whee

Lunch is from 1230-130 IIRC. I plan to be there for 1. The race is I think 4 hours with some scheduled breaks & lunch.

1ish it'll be then. We'll see what Cunt Nature will bring for tomorrow too.

So much fun. We started at the back with Jodie driving. Got hit and knocked the toe out of whack. Greg K is an animal! He lapped us 3 times. I got 1 lap back in my stint and was staying outta trouble until I hit a rut and popped the RF off. I limped in and got a new one on and only lost 4 laps. Greg K took our car out the 3rd stint and got 1 lap back, and was side by side with the leader (his other car) when the session ended. So we are 6 laps down in 6th place. 4th and 5th are catchable and we'll need some luck to get any higher than that.

I was passing for 4th and stuffed it in the bank. Got too excited. Gregs in now. He's 2 laps back of 4th place. And the 3rd place car is heavily wounded. Possible podium if Greg can get 2 laps back.

Finished in 4th. Pretty excited for my first ice race. Had a blast. A few less mistake on my part and we would have been on the podium. Gonna be a slick drive home now.

Ya, was there from 13:00 to 15:00, left when the freezing rain started to come down and stuck to the jackets.

Someone got alot of fun driving the 22, I wonder if Grant needed a barf bag in there

Nice, all about being consistent. Roads oddly not too bad.

One of our drivers stuffed the car into snow, which got up into the engine and managed to somehow slip the timing belt a couple of teeth on both cams. It does not work so good like that.

"One of your drivers"?? I guess you shouldn't shame him because he did do an awesome job organizing it!!!

I hope someone got a picture of me stuck in the bank pointed sky-high.

Yup. Grants car (Nigel driving) was stuck in the bank about 50 feet up the track. I was thinking I could go over him instead of around him. Didn't work.
