Ah, so it was Nigel driving the Outback like a maniac and often ending up in pitlane to get out of corner 1...

Was fun watching you guys swing it around.

Yeah but to be fair I think Grant spun it around right there too. Probably just to make Nigel feel better about it.

seriously though, you failed to mention that if you get within 2 feet of the banks, they jump out and get you. Fucker came out of nowhere.

That off line slurry is no joke. When I went out at the end in the green beast, it was 3' deep in spots... Especially at pit out.

BTW, did you leave my gloves in the Jeep? Forgot to look for them before I left last night.

Yup, they kept sliding off the center console into the back. Sorry!

No worries, that's perfect. I'll grab'em the next time I'm out there.

Nigel was a mad man out there. So awesome. I couldn’t believe the traction he kept finding after coming into each corner way fast than felt right.

I couldn’t tell that was you...it’s weird seeing a car at that angle. It’s unnatural.

I lost it trying to run the Nigel line and threw it into reverse to complete the 360. The car didn’t like that and got stuck in reverse so I just plowed into the bank. Some aggressive jerking by a Victoria got the drivetrain shifted enough to pull it out of reverse then we were racing again.

Once we got the car running the day was awesome. The track got better as the day went on and I was amazed there was so little contact. I only went through one corner against another car and luckily it was Tyler in the wolf mobile. I knew he’d be cool with it

    So much fun.

So it was you that hit us!

Shortly after that contact our clutch fell apart...

    Grant owes us a clutch.

Will they be putting in a shiny new one?

BTW, +1 for supporting high school auto shop classes. We got to tear down an oval endurance car once, but not enough people use HS services. Cheap labour and good learning experience.

If you look closely you can see the exact correlation between grant’s car hitting us, and the clutch exploding.

    Science.

Strange how that works. I had to ask my co-driver to straighten out the side view mirror. Your clutch exploded. All of the impact energy must have transferred into your transmission...directly through its wimp-bone
