No way Vettel lets that happen. Would be awesome though.

Alonso has a better chance of getting back into a Ferrari, no way he's going to Red Bull. But like Ham, I'm sure Vettel has veto power and doesn't have the guts to go head to head with Alonso.

If Ferrari want the championship, they need a combo like HAM/ROS. Kimi is still fast, but too passive in the last few years, bwoah.

Sainz has earned his spot at Red Bull but I'd say 60/40 between him and Gasly at RB.

Still lots of movement as only 5 drivers are confirmed so far, but 2 spots still with the top 3 teams. HAM, BOT, VET, VER, RIC.

Would be good to see Renault come back to form in 2019 and have Ricciardo beat his old "sore-loser" teammate. Hulk I don't think is yet confirmed as being at Renault next year. Most likely spot that Alonso could land if he stays in F1.

    No drivers confirmed yet:
    - Williams
    - Sauber
    - Haas
    - Toro Rosso
    - Force India
    - McLaren

Looks to be a done deal now. CanadaF1 eh?

Stroll-backed consortium saves Force India F1 team

The administrators for the Force India Formula 1 team have accepted a bid led by Lawrence Stroll.
Force India has been in administration since the Friday before the Hungarian Grand Prix in a bid to protect it against the threat of a winding-up order over mounting debts.
It was confirmed on Tuesday evening that a consortium, led by Stroll, had been assembled with the assistance of Force India's chief operations officer Otmar Szafnauer and the team's senior management.

A deal has been agreed with the joint administrators, appointed by FRP Advisory, to return the team to solvency.

Stroll's fellow investors are Canadian entrepreneur Andre Desmarais, Jonathan Dudman of Monaco Sports and Management, fashion business leader John Idol, telecommunications investor John McCaw Jr, financial expert Michael de Picciotto, and Stroll's business partner Silas Chou.

Would need A LOT of work to make it F1 ready. Probably too short of a track too.

Google tells me it's basically the same length as the current Montreal GP track.

I can't see it happening, but then again billions gonna billion.

True, I would've said no, but then it's Stroll. Would be a big ego stroke to have the F1 back at his track.
Won't happen until the contract runs out with downtown MTL.

Especially with the money the F1 had Montreal put in the paddocks this year... all new setup for next year, modernized from A-Z.

Another 10 years in Montreal and maybe Mont Tremblant but what are the chances of having a Stroll driving an F1 in 10 years?

Doesn't Desmarais pretty much own Montreal? I'm sure he can make shit happen if they want it.

    https://www.planetf1.com/news/alonso...-this-season/#

Alonso has announced he's leaving F1 at the end of the season.

With no seats available at the top teams, I guess he finally got sick of dragging a dog of a car into the midfield
