    No this isn't for racing at all actually it's for instructing. I made around $6k instructing last year, probably the same this year. It's a business expense, a tool for doing a job.

    Buying it under my business as a write off too.

    So I finally got the Traccom today.

    It is well built for sure. The student headsets are rugged and the boom is very thick.

    Seems to work well, I have to get use to it though. You can't really hear yourself much like you can on the chatterbox. The volume isn't very loud, I had it full blast, anything other than full blast may as well be off. But my 3 students all said they could hear me fine.

    You hear ZERO car noise, that's the big bonus here. I was going deaf in the mustangs with the chatterbox, the amplified exhaust was just too much and can make you feel sick or lopsided.

    This you literally only hear the talking.

    Got my headset with 2 speakers mounted in headset now its plenty loud. Seems great.
