20 not great but not terrible for a last minute addition to the schedule.

Yeah the US races have tons of car, COTA had 61 (down from 100 last year I think), Daytona 126 started, not sure about CTMP or others in Canada - hopefully more than 20.

20 short track at bogie is fine, 20 long track is more alone time.

The racing was in waves. I'd do a few laps by myself, relax and get into a rhythm, and then I'd catch up to people again and start passing for a few laps. Lather rinse repeat. I found it quite enjoyable.

The Glen was awesome. The entire two hours you were either getting passed or passing, sometimes three at a time.

But there's a bigger point here. The 1-series is the last car that BMW engineered before the Germans, as a car-making culture, fell out of love with driving.

No, he isn't. I know the GasTOPS guys because I worked there 22 years ago.

Yes!!! Going into the bus stop 3-4 wide was hilarious fun. And blasting through the esses with 2 wheels on the grass because there is no track left ... Epic.

So I thought I had a seat lined up for the Chump race this weekend, but the team I was talking to decided not to run. They made a deal for Twoth to run their car instead, and I wasn't in their driver queue. Twoth is down a car because one hadn't run in a Canadian race this year, so it doesn't qualify for the Chumpionship. So they are full up.

Anybody know of a team with seats available?

    Default Chump race.

I was entertaining the idea of running with Jeff in the Powersports Chumpstang for this race but that was a while ago. Maybe they still have a seat available?

PM me if you need his info

Noice! I really want to try a chump race next year. Just need the main ride to stabilize so I have coin for other ventures.

Do you know Kees Vanwindon? I think he has drivers for the upcoming race, pretty sure Gregor is one. I can ask him if he needs another if you like
