Pat...my dad had the prostate cancer then a few years later diagnosed with an aggressive bladder cancer. The bladder cancer was 8 years ago...he kicked the shit out of it and continues making the most out of life. He had some struggles along the way for sure but it can be beaten. Stay positive. See you at the track.
    Probably going to hell.

Thanks Jeff ! I really needed to hear your dad's story.

I am going to kick this cancer - and plan to be at the track often this summer.

Lew Mackenzie is one guy I'd think would be able to get his hands on something like that without needing Marstar

Real deal. Lew's regiment were confiscating these from Contra rebels in Central America back in the late 80's.

I spent time in most of those counties as well as Cambodia - doing humanitarian work in the early 90's.

I never wanted to see another AK 47 again as long as I lived.

But - when this came up for auction last night, I couldn't resist.

So - I leave the meeting, throw the machine gun in the trunk of the Hellcat, put on my white fedora and head for home in Kanata.

As I bombed along, the thought entered my head - "This would be a lousy time for a police traffic stop! "

Ah well - ya only live once . . .
