    The more the merrier!

I'd also love to see/hear Seb rockin' the mic again, like when I started at Lot 9.

Bring back the old school ! Yeah not everyone can do that on the mic, certainly not me. I'd be interested in attending that.

But there's a bigger point here. The 1-series is the last car that BMW engineered before the Germans, as a car-making culture, fell out of love with driving.

Also, how would I be classed? I will be swapping on some good tires, but other than that, the car will be stock. Currently I have the low resistance eco hockey pucks that have 0 traction.

Looking for direction on tires - like say 200 treadwear, or R's, or full on slicks. With no other changes to the car, what class would I wind up in based on tire selection alone?

    Thanks!

Don't need to join MCO. Probably balances out to becoming a member if you run 1/2 dozen events, as it's cheaper for members, iirc.

For tires, depends on your goals. Hoosier A7's are probably the best, still, but not sure if you want to drop that kind of money on them. I wouldn't. Just get a set of street tires that the regular guys will soon chime in on, and go with that. No idea about classing. That was never my thing.

The classing is affected by tires. Get the hottest tires that wont bump your class

^ exactly what I am looking for.

Now, what class would a 2017 Bolt be in?

Im mobile right now but the base classing per car and the per car mod classing sheets are pretty straightforward. Iirc its 15 point go up a class, and some cars are in a class +7 points. 200 tw or lower are something like +10 points, so rubber selection is really based on that.

Looks like I'd be E 12 with 200 or lower tires with 3 points left. If I go to 100 treadwear, I wind up in D

Hum. MCO base classes assume the car has been classed by the SCCA. At this point looks like it hasn't been yet. Interesting, we'll have to do some digging.
