    JUST DRIVE THE FAWKIN THING!

Edit: Who cares if you go to D. Driving on anything less than an Extreme Performance Summer tire is going to be less fun. Driving on stock tires is still more fun than not driving at all.

But there's a bigger point here. The 1-series is the last car that BMW engineered before the Germans, as a car-making culture, fell out of love with driving.

I agree, but still more fun than not doing AutoX at all.

Even rental Malibu with 10000 tread wear tires and four people in it was more fun than not autoxing.

Not that that was ever done, or there is photographic evidence of.

Itís not a matter of not going. It is happening.

I would just rather at least have the feeling of G forces while cornering.

    These tires are seriously brutal.

Just have to get the combo right.

You might learn more with shitty tires. The stiff sidewalls will make them consistent atleast. Better to drive a slow car fast and all that.

500TW all seasons... take offs from a set of wheels I picked up (they lasted a year too!):
