Car is running but at high rpm it fights back a little. Seller thinks the belt slipped a tooth or two

From what I saw in my times there the 1999-2000 or so AWD subarus are a popular (and effective) choice.
    Probably going to hell.

OEM seat belts and a helmet. Done. Pulling airbag fuses is a good idea too.

Are most of them stripped (seats, interior, etc) or is that a waste of time?

We stripped the rear of ours, left front alone. Dunno if it mattered but our team did well.

My goal is to finish. Even finishing one will be cool. I think if we keep expectations for success low and for hooligan fun high and we'll do just fine.

Yeah. It'll be a great excuse to get the team over for a beer and do some damage. Mikeman willing to pick up unneeded interior bits for sale online or does it all just go in the trash?

Are there sound limits? Like, "my old subby had the exhaust break off at the cat and now I am willing to sell it for nothing" kind of sound? Does the exhaust have to come out behind the drivers door?

exhaust has to come out behind/beside passenger compartment. best sounding car we had was the maxima when we cut the exhaust off and welded up a side-dump, straight off the headers. so cool lol.

Our exhaust fell off (we blame Greg) so we just put in a straight pipe. Was louder but would still pass Calabogie sound check. It's just a Subaru Legacy.
