That would be awesome. Even more so with a real car.

    LMAO!

He's just trying to goad me into GT Racing on slicks.

Your knuckle-dragging Mustang driver ways are transparent to me.

Notice how the miata guy calls it MRLS. it's Laguna Seca man.

and yah, RS3s are practice tires, time for slicks!

Here's my weak Laguna story. I drove there and watched a race. Didn't know what track days were at the time.

Just means I gotta go back.

It's called Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. In fact the sign at the entrance doesn't include the Laguna Seca part. I tell ya, these sponsors are out of control.

Okay, here's the only clean lap I got (too much traffic). The motor was getting hot so it started power limiting part-way through.

You can hear the tires. The corkscrew is awesome. The first couple of times around I was just laughing it was so much fun.

Thanks! Got the line figured out pretty quick. Corner 6 was kinda wide on that lap, but other than that (and the power limit) I was reasonably happy with it.

Crazy elevation changes, and not just the corkscrew. Corners 2, 6, and 9 are also lots of fun. Corner 11 takes a bit of practice to get right.

    Exactly.

That's not normal; they were lining up to do a one-lap time trial. They enter the track before the front straight by driving backwards up the exit. One car is released every 15 seconds so they don't catch up to each other. One full lap and then exit by emergency exit on corner 5.

That's another fun one. You can take it faster than you'd think; somehow the crazy elevation change helps the car rotate. I didn't really do it right on that particular lap, but it still worked.
