I would be in for that as an epic road trip.

That is one brave Tesla owner.

I might be going to California in a few weeks, I contacted them about options, they don't have rentals like the bogie mustangs or any program to drive the track really. I might rent a prius and join on a club day event. I hope this works out.

But there's a bigger point here. The 1-series is the last car that BMW engineered before the Germans, as a car-making culture, fell out of love with driving.

I might fit in a Miata, can't do school, not spending more than a day in Sonoma.

You're in Calif. Just go rent a mustang etc... and take it there.

I was planning on renting the slowest most dangerous thing I could find in manual if possible.

I contacted a few events clubs. Willing to have instructor to check me out. I go slow take it easy, "OMG this is so much fun!" they get out send me off... then I go flat out. Pretty sure I'll be able to do this.

The track is super easy to get use to. Maybe because I did so many laps in video games. But even so, I got comfy after 4 laps or so.

Just the corner after the corkscrew I was a little worried I was going to crash each time... Other than that I was confident to push.

    Worth it.
