    yup, exactly. And building a chump car is WAY cheaper than any other race car. You can build a good, competitive chump car for $5k-$8k, no problem.

    And do double duty with regional racing LOL. Couple of the Chump cars were former Regional racers, GT5, but can still do both.

    Gonna put some serious thought to it in the spring...may just offload my bike, get into a racecar, and then fix up my old bike to have 2 wheels again (ala mikeman). It'd be nice to have less concern over putting my DD into a wall

    Not sure about Chump this year though - still working out the "why do you do such dangerous things" issues with the support crew at home

    I think it will be over budget, you'd have to remove some of the goodies it has (suspension mainly)

    Leaving Wednesday afternoon and heading to Braselton Georgia for a 14 hour enduro at Road Atlanta... in a 1999 VW TDI! pretty stoked!
