Yeah... if you're interested, here's the moment that the humming sound went sour:

You can't hear the engine all that well in the video. I think you're just hearing a flutter in the exhaust. In person it sounded like clacking.

Ralph (who ironically flagged me out of the start box) listened to it and immediately pronounced "bottom end".

No prob. Short track doesn't have many good passing places. My car does better on the long track or in the wet. Engine is bone stock, but the 4500 lbs of weight are a real handful in the twisty bits - kinda like wrestling with a crocodile . . .

Last race of the 2011 Gentlemen’s race at Calabogie.

So long story short, I’m backing up on hard drives and putting on YouTube all my good videos. Christmas is a great time for this cause I got plenty of time.

So I find this, which I just watched. Its the first time I bring my son to the track at Calabogie. Geoff the mortgage dude, invited me to come and watch the GT race which I never saw before. I think it was my second or third time at Bogie. Well Turns out it’s the last race of the season where Carey in the G, my G, is leading most of the race with Greg on his ass in his red Mustang. There’s another black G in the race, my guess is it’s Paul. Wait and see all the familiar Bogie faces and cars from 2 years ago.

So this vid is of the last 2011 GT race filmed on the pit wall, ending with the podium ceremony with Carey, Greg and James. Sorry for all the father & son stuff but its great to go 2 years back in time at Bogie
