Nope, it's super basic. Nothing in there at all for redirects and everything is hosted directly on that domain (nothing off site).

odd.

I guess this software (not saying the gov is using the same system) declares that category when it thinks the site is empty. Being brand new it is possible.

Another with the same problem (new site)
https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/webmasters/Oj5x-jTn574

Maybe they are using websense?

Jethro
January 31st, 2014, 10:32am
do you have a robots.txt file that disallows crawling of the site?

dbg
January 31st, 2014, 10:38am
Make sure there aren't some "extra" files on your site that you didn't know about.

We had trouble with our company web site. We got marked by McAfee as a potentially dangerous site. Turned out someone had hacked their way in somehow and was uploading scripts. It appears the scripts were being used by spammers, probably for phishing I would guess. They weren't actually affecting our site visitors, fortunately.

I deleted the scripts and changed all the passwords. New scripts appeared a couple of days later. Lather, rinse, repeat, couldn't get rid of them. Surprisingly Primus was no help whatsoever; they were both incompetent and completely unconcerned about security breaches in their servers. Pretty sure THEY were the ones whose passwords were hacked.

Solved the problem by deleting Primus.

wing
January 31st, 2014, 10:51am
It's new give those geeks time to review it I say. It's not been hacked has no other files etc. And the other sites work and they have been live much longer.

wing
January 31st, 2014, 10:58am
I've sent a mail to the websense team.

I did a check on their servers and it reports back exactly the same error you guys are seeing. They actually list every single page to be malicious due to not knowing the content.

Yes for real. I didn't think to take a pic with them on the car, but I snapped a "before and after" comparison of the discs as I was changing them. The larger cross-drilled disks are the ones I got from Arek. Yes, they have a wee bit of surface rust, but I'll "machine" them by bedding in the HT-10 pads. (That said, I'm thinking of switching to DTC70 or 60; I find the HT-10 a little too grabby).

18942

The only other part I needed from the stuff Arek sold me was the larger caliper brackets. Really simple upgrade job!

I found the stock brakes were fine for stopping power, but I really wanted better cooling. This should help.

Bigger than base, smaller than Z06. Not going apeshit on the mods. My goals are to eliminate the various overheating problems, and to fix the horrible understeer.

UPS is supposed to deliver diff and tranny coolers today.

I ordered a suspension kit from Pfadt Engineering three months ago but they seem to be screwing up big-time on delivery. Getting close to asking for a refund. Any suggested alternatives?

The first time around the short track with the Corvette is gonna be interesting. With the S2000 I had to relax the steering lock going over each of those little 9A/9B hills or the car would do scary things like jump sideways. Didn't figure that out, had to get off the track and ask Ian.

With the Corvette I already have to do that on the full track.

Well that's what I was doing at first, but as I built up speed it got twitchier and twitchier, until it literally jumped all four wheels to the left. I'm thinking, "this is NOT a good thing". So I eased off for the rest of the session and asked around during the break.

Mine was an AP1; did you have an AP2? There were some significant differences in the rear suspension.

dbg

Doug, we'll work on that, straight line it over the crest.

Yeah, I'm already doing that, thanks to S2000 experience. The other thing I was having trouble with there was the braking zone into 10. Car was light and it was always trying to lock up.

Last year I basically bought the car and immediately took it to the race weekend. Learning the hard way...

A little instruction should go a very long way.

if you spend a session on the corner 10 marshal station stand and watch the cars come into the braking zone @ 10 - you'll see some pretty hairy shit. there are many different techniques used - but the fast guys are always braking right at the edge of lockup. hard brake on left side vs one car width in seems to have an impact on turn in point and corner entry speed.

wing
April 23rd, 2014, 03:40pm
Mine was an AP1 -- never had issues that everyone always complained about. Just drove it. Sure it slid sideways and stuff but that's the fun no? Only scared myself poopy a few times.

10 is tricky, I'm still not doing it right IMO

raggedrabbit
April 23rd, 2014, 04:02pm
On 10, if you don't brake before the crest to settle the car and get some weight up front, you are SOL. I was working towards a later brake point there and braked over the crest and went right off... I hardly knew wtf happened. It's annoying because I go through the rest of the section flat out, but the downhill steals all me grip :(.

I’ve been working on my car all day. thought I get back here and get some juicy details about how the day went, but nothing!!!?

Geoff how was the handling of the car with all the new Aero?

Greg, how did the car feel yesterday? Fast? What were you running, NT01?

Doug, how about you. Hopefully you got most of your problems sorted out? Car must of felt great with the new suspension?

Pat, I saw the big ass 3000 in the pics. Must of been a lot of fun?

Matt, is the Stang running strong? Confident you’ll kick ass in GT2?

Is James the only one excited about hitting the track again?

wing

Doug, how about you. Hopefully you got most of your problems sorted out? Car must of felt great with the new suspension?

I've mentioned my results elsewhere, but here is a summary:

Good: Suspension works really well - massive improvement. It's like a totally different car. Greg showed me his line. Really enjoyed getting back on the track.

Bad: After a couple of sessions the diff cooler started leaking - icky mess but repairable. Found my new-ish GoPro3 camera battery is dead as a doornail, but old camera still worked. Lap timer went up in smoke (as in smoke actually came out of it). Some moron drove over my track bag and crushed half its contents.

1Morelap

Nothing to share, my car isn't ready to run, I ran some laps to make sure nothing surprises me. I still need to replace a split axle boot and the Diff Plug, both of which arrived while I was at the track. I don't even have tires yet.

I spent most of the day taking pictures - see calabogieGT FB album - hanging 1morelap posters, sticking stickers and chatting with my friends that I haven't seen in a few months.

It was fun to help doug out too.

Some moron drove over my track bag and crushed half its contents.

car should feel like it’s brand new. I’ve had a GoPro crush along with the whole car. Believe me, just the GoPro ain’t that bad but yeah it should suck, its brand new

Yeah - it was more fun than usual, as my son was riding along with me and - 'cause we finally got the ECM on the Beast programmed to defeat ALL of the nannies. I was hoping for a dry track so I could create some torque oversteer approaching apexes like I can do in the wet. Got a dry track; easy rotation now - and hoping knock a few more seconds off the lap times . . .

And - it was great seeing a lot of the guys again along with some new faces.

Wow first day out in the fresh air in a few months and boom I was asleep by like 9pm:)

Day went great for me and dad. Spent the majority of the day on the shitty spec falcons. Had some awesome battles with Doug.... Man that car has balls... I would be driving at 10/10s with those falcons and each lap I'd gain a little, but man every time we hit a straight he just kept getting smaller and smaller! But his car looked good out there! I forgot the power cord for my lap timer so I have no idea what kind of times we were doing.

The last two runs of the day (1 for me and 1 for my dad) we threw on the nt01s and wow man oh man, what a phenomenal tire. I said it last year and I'll say it again... No more used tires. NT01s are the way to go hands down.

I'm confident in a solid running in gt2. I think the main competition in GT2 will be Dave from bodiwerks ... If he doesn't jump into GT1. He was fast.

As always dad and I certainly have a spread in our times so he accumulates half the points... So we'll see how the season works out! There are always what ifs!

What I can say is I'm stoked! So ready for this!

Actually, I had another GoPro. In the races I like running one facing forwards and back. The one whose battery failed was a replacement for an old GoPro that can't see SD cards anymore. Not having great luck with the GoPros. On the bright side, the one with the bad battery was in the track bag when it got squashed, and survived. So maybe my luck with cameras is changing!

I dug out the footage of your car. Uploading now.

I estimated lap times from the video. Came in at a very consistent 2:30.

There appears to be an invisible rubber band between our cars. Whenever you get a better launch out of the corner, I reel you in by the end of the straight. Hmm... if I can do better in the corners, you'll have a hard time catching me! Could be fun, although at the moment I'm not planning on slicks for this season.

My internet sucks so it'll probably take all night to upload the thing. If it works...

To be honest I wasn't pushing that hard. I was relearning the car - it drives completely differently with the new suspension. There's definitely a lot more in it.

I do need to work on the quarry complex. I think I mainly need to recalibrate my corner speeds in the places where the old suspension was sucking so badly; the quarry was the worst. I've been told the worst part of the base C6 suspension was the bushings, and I'm pretty sure that's bang on. They were probably flexing so much that the left front tire was going to positive camber in hard corners. If you look at the tread it looks almost new, but the outside edge was getting chunked.

As for 3, I was simply turning in too early. Greg pointed it out to me later in the day, and it's pretty obvious from the video. A little rusty after the long winter, I guess! That's easy to clean up.

I expect I'll improve a lot with some more seat time.

I've heard the same about the bushings in that car, and specifically about losing all your camber in hard cornering. Heard the same about the C5... think what Greg could do with a new suspension...

We talked about it on Friday, but it's essentially a new car... you'll likely be pulling significant time off over each of your next few outings which will be awesome to see!

As for corner 1.... you probably could do it without braking now... once you modify your quarry sequence... you'll be mega fast into 1... then maybe not.

The C5 Z06 still has some serious issues... according the the depfuncft Pfaft.

I'm on my 5th serious year out there and still learning new stuff... like rotating into 19.... watch me take off in the front straight in your vid... that's all because of 19... just figured that out last year.

Oh and watch me in 15, you take my old line... watch me hang out way left now... allows me to mat is WAY earlier since im now essentially going straight.

The more changes you make... the more changes you have to make... :)

wing

Don't like your line in 15, if you turn in too late you'll be on the grass in no time. The track slopes away off camber on the outside. But Doug is taking it too tight, the turn in (According to Jay Saslove and Bruce Gregory) is about halfway between those two points. A little later than you think but not so late you fall off the edge. But hey if it works for you... I'd pass you on the inside :P

Greg seem to do pretty well with his Z06, but he did have favorable comments about my car. (Doing all those bushings was a serious pain in the ass, but worth it.)

Yes your turn-in at 19 is very nice. Can't see what you're doing differently. Deliberate power oversteer?

Oh and watch me in 15, you take my old line... watch me hang out way left now... allows me to mat is WAY earlier since im now essentially going straight.

I have the same Z as greg and it is epic, but apparently there is alot more in it... can't confirm either way. All i know is, it's fast out there.

As for 19... i modified my entrance/exit location of 18, and with a little throttle lift i end up being completely straight, before i even hit the apex of 19, so i have an uber smooth transition into 20, instead of having to turn left into 20 before the car is even settled from the exit of 19... getting that pendulum effect and keeping you from getting the power down early after 20. Quarry is a whole study in corner sequencing logistics... it's awesome.

15... my new line... scary as shit at first lol feels like you are going to drive off the world... but as soon as the hump is over and the car is settled... you can get on the gas right away... once you get that down, you enter 16 crazy fast... trying to judge whether or not i have to brake there now. I had a racer teach me this last year... didn't believe him at first... felt uber uncomfortable... but kept at it, and now I love it!

Greg doesn't seem to mind his Z06.

Now I can see it in the video. You're hitting an imaginary apex in the middle of the track rather than at the corner, so you're already almost straight at the apex cone. To do that you're parallel to the 18 curbing a bit earlier. Interesting! I expect you're taking a small speed penalty there, in order to optimize your entry onto the front straight - where it really matters. Smart!

It seems you can drive around that track a thousand times and still have a lot to learn.

This is definitely true. The school lines get you around... but not always the fastest. You learn so much more about the line at 10/10s (or at least I do) than at any other type of event, lapping, schools, whatever... and by that notion, I have learned way more from our series than all my other experience combined. Guys who have consistently run our series, may have the more "full out laps" on that track than a lot of the guys racing door to door.

Just an observation Matt, aren’t you afraid of the marble once the track gets dirty at turn 15 and I definitely see guys out braking you in a straight line at temptation, doing a double apex while you’re on the outside lining up for the exit. I understand that it shouldn’t be a problem for the GT races since we need a point by to pass and we can’t do it at the apex but still, you’ll be looking straight at their eyes making waves to each other which could be fun I guess

Edit: just remembered, were the 29th, ooups, how was that Ginger Ale?

I have found that the marbles are still much farther out that the line I am taking. So far no issue... But every time out there is different right... The key is being able to adjust... :)

As for turn 8, I have multiple lines through there depending on the scenario. And I played with a different over the test and tune. I still think you can be the fastest between 7 and 10 running the outside line in 8... BUT none of that matters if the guy dive bombs you in 8. So depending who's around I modify the line :)

totally unexpected, I figured top 5 for me, I knew Geoff would be quick, I didn't think I would be on the podium. Lots of fast cars there. Geoff got the pole with a 1:17.4 , I had 2nd with a 17.5, I was chasing him during those laps and could tell he was going to be a rocket. Pierre still had old tires, and Steve had nt01s, they were 4th and 3rd in the 19's? Race started great, I couldn't match Geoffs times, losing 1/2 second per lap, but I was still ahead of Steve, awesome. I thought maybe I could battle with Steve while our man Geoff surged ahead.. about lap 4 or so? Geoff grabs some dirt outside quarry and then pulls off ? wtf. ( clutch pedal too floor ) Dude had it in the bag, but it's a good sign of things to come this season.

That left Steve behind me by a couple seconds, I figured he would eventually catch me, that BMW is always quick, we were running 17.8s, I bested with a 17.2, I pushed and focused on making my marks, even figured out how to heel toe better, it's like butter, thanks MattE for setting me straight on that. We lapped everyone but 3rd place. He was always a few seconds behind me, was nuts, laps were not counting down quick enough. Traffic was awesome, point by anywhere, felt like chump car again.

mass social media feed to continue all week. k thanks, shop at southpointedental and get your teeth cleaned at no limits.. wait. errr.

I saw geoff's car bombing up and down the paddock on Friday afternoon, waved...not Geoff looked at me and gave back a royal kinda wave. Not Geoff is mechanic guy fixing leak? Sounded good.

Nice rassin guys, will be there next time for the show.

"Not Geoff" was either Trevor or Jay. They have a shop at Bogie (Powersports Garage) and charge very reasonable rates. Jury is still out on why the clutch failed, so reasonable rates are still up for debate at this point. They fixed the transmission leak from last week, as it was spraying all over the clutch. They said they couldn't guarantee the clutch, so I opted for leaving it in, instead of dropping another thousand quid putting in a new one. We'll see whether it was my decision to cheap out, or something they missed or just a shitty coincidence. fwiw, they're great to deal with. Kept me updated along the way.

Fun race! Congrats Greg on the big W!

I wasn't sure I was going to make it, car was still on the lift at 3:15 but we got there just in time :)

Qualified near the back of the pack and had to make my way back up through lots of traffic which was actually fun (except for the first few laps where there were 3-4 of us who weren't getting a point-by by a red miata...) Had fun catching Doug in the vette and then the gofl :D My go pro wasn't recording (Matt ignore that) so I unfortunately don't have any footage of it but Doug would have had some decent camera time haha

Matt what are the classification times for short track? My fastest lap was a 1:24.5, just curious as to where I would have been had I qualified with a similar time?

Good times!

Lol I was gridded 10 cars back from where I should have been due to a communications error. But it was fun working my way back up (well except for the Miata that held 3 cars in a train for three full laps). Wasn't pushing things too hard because my tires were corded, but lots of fun.

have you approached Terry Dale with your concerns? He's the one in the position to call the flags that need to happen to start the learning process.
I will be working with Terry at all of the GT Challenge races except the one in July. He's asked that if we observe drivers not adhering to the rules that we're to call it in. The penalty box in pit lane is not a fun place to be for any driver in any race.

Jeff, it was the MCO lapping day and I was working the radio. I addressed issue with Rob Switzer after it occurred and I believe he followed up with Bob. I didn't have an issue during the GT races I did last year as it always seemed to be Bob's son driving, and he kept his head up. Sounds like that may not be the case this year.

Yes I waved my hand pointing but I was one car behind at the time. Miata < Orange 1M < Me waving < Doug in Vette

Okay that really irritates me, so I will extract the appropriate piece of video and post it.

He right that he knows you're back there. He'll point a Corvette past in a flash, but not an S2000. Trust me. He's deciding who is faster based on what car he sees, not the fact that they are on his tail.

On Saturday there were two smaller cars between my Corvette and him, so he decided to leave us there for three laps. All three cars were much faster than him. Once I got on his tail he let me by immediately because he saw a Corvette. As he did two more times during the race.
