View Full Version : When does Luskville open?

September 27th, 2012, 10:52pm
Does anyone know when the day at Luskville begins? I'm going to be there this Saturday to see what the recent mods have done for me in the 1/4 mile but want to go as early as possible. Running at night once the ricers mess up the track and at 5 degrees is fun and all but...

Wasn't sure if I should admit that I already tried and came up with nothing. Too late now I guess.

On a second attempt it appears to be noon. Guess I need to pay more attention to the search results next time.

I'll probably be there sometime between 12-4. Look for a bunch of Mustangs, I think, what are you driving?

A black Pontiac G8. I 'm going to try to get out as early as possible...I've been told that's when the big boys come out to play ;-)

Was nice weather. Made for good power > no traction. Managed a spinning 12.8 @ 116. LXR8 was doing good what a fast sedan!!! I'll let him post his shit. All I know is we both beat a 2020 GT500 with pulley, intake, header, cat back and tune by 0.5+ senconds!! Fastest car the was a new AMG sedan 12.5 @ 109 - (traction is key) and a new M3 with a Vortech 12.7 @ 111. Man that thing sounded sick!

Ended up limping home, ty sure I broke one of my brand new poly control arm bushings. BECAUSE CLUTCH DROPS!!!!!!

My best time was 12.8@112 and best trap was 13.1@114. I was running 13 flat most of the day around 110. Traction sucked and the frost had already buckled the track...it felt like riding down a cottage laneway. The right lane was actually scary and I stopped running on it so the car wouldn't fall apart.

Traction was definitely the problem, along with track condition. I'm in for the next cruise to Napierville in the spring/summer or whenever it happens. I've added gears and a cam and my times haven't improved at all on this track ;-(

Some good drag radials would help as well. If anyone is sitting on a set of 265/40/18 slicks let me know!

Nice to meet you Yanrider. Look forward to your times once you risk jacking the boost again!

LOL the frost didn't buckle it, it just sucks dick. Nice times, I would of figured much higher traps though.
