Holy shit!!!!! That is some serious power for such small displacement. And KERS systems are excellent for the trickle down of technology to street cars.

Found an article. Not sure if it's official.


The new engines will not do more than 10,000 revs per minute - current F1 engines spin at 18,000rpm.

Yep. But guess what that means?

If they will be making the same horsepower at 10k rpms = fuckload of marfar torque. Srs.

Damn Im gonna miss the sounds of 18000 rpm, but Im sure these new engines will sound wicked anyways. Amazing hp out of the displacement.

I know they were debating whether or not to decrease the displacement... but is this for sure now!?
