Same here, I dont know this track, but Im curious if that is the normal location for pit or grid. Seems like there should be a barrier?

I stand corrected on my Subie remark...

FWIW...first rule of trackdays..."Never turn your back to cars at race speed"

Now that sucks. I'm surprised they staged so close to the track line. Pretty obvious (now) that was right in the line of fire.

As for who pays, I think everyone is on their own. You sign a waiver coming onto the track that you assume all risks. I don't see this any different than racing, even if its someone else's fault you pay your own repair bills. Hopefully gentleman rules will come into play for the G35/NSX owners.

I'd puke if that was me.

Ninja edit : He's already tagged something else before he makes contact with the cars. You can see both airbags already deployed and there's the NSX in the background with the wing coming off.

According to the description the Evo got his tires off and the only thing he hit was the G35 and NSX.

Evo loses control when he takes two tires off the racing surface and overcorrects. Slams into a NSX and G35 that were on pit road waiting to go out in the next session.

Airbags are insanely quick when they deploy.

Wow. Absolutely nuts. Yet again another example of the risks we all take. It's not always about you and your car control. There are others around you at all times that can turn your day from good to bad in an instant.
