As much as I say I don't want to organize anymore events, I feel like we're losing some members who can't afford, or don't want to play on the big tracks yet.

So this is your chance. We all have fun at SMP.

Heres the schedule,

1498

I'm away the weekend of Sept 25, so thats out for me, I see Sept 17 Friday night is open though.

October is open as well most Saturdays which means we don't have to take time off work (although I have to see if they do evening rentals on weekends).

Let me know your thoughts, it will probably be the usual, 5:30-7:30PM, $70-80

Saturday would be good. I don't really like Friday half day work, drive out and drive back, makes for a long day.

Nah, not into SMP much anymore. It's not anymore $$ to pull a nighter at CMP when you add it all up. Regardless, even if I change my mind, September just doesn't work for me. October = more chance of me saying yes.

But have fun to those who attend. It's great to get the newer guys comfortable! I have good memories there :)

Sept 17, or the Sat works for me. I'd rather Sept than Oct as the temps are warmer and my R comps will stick better. And yes they do Sat evening rentals, done it plenty of times with the Subaru club.

I have some new stainless brake lines to install and this would be a good opp to test them out before the season ends.

SMP is about 3 hours away? 2 hours on the track and then drive back or would you guys camp/hotel and then come back?

I''m planning on being out at least one more time this year and hopefully I'll have more car money next season...

11 people so far, cancel in favor of PC CMP evening events?

Less traveling, less tire wear, less brake wear, less gas, less money, less hassle...hmmmm.....

I prefer cmp

RandomHer0
August 16th, 2010, 09:21am
everyone does.

I see alot of interest in CMP over SMP. When you think about it, although the CMP event is $125, getting to SMP alone makes up the difference.

we should book a sept date soon for cmp??

^ Word, plus it's way harder on the car and sucks up the whole night. CMP we're back in town by 9.

Word.
Brakes and tire costs at SMP are 5x what they are at CMP for the same time.
